Mrs. Wade's afternoon class has eagerly volunteered to tend our new raised garden beds! One of which was donated by the Farm Bureau!
We are still harvesting cherry tomatoes and have planted radishes, beets, carrots and lettuce from seed! We also planted nine broccoli plants.
Pictured below: Students are thinning out the baby plants so that each plant has plenty of room to grow. We used our observation skills to notice how different the first leaves of the plants look. We are eager to see how each plant develops.
